The Connacht Rugby is an Ireland professional rugby team. Connacht participated in the United Rugby Championship and European Champions Cup. The team represents the Connacht Division of IRFU, which is one of the four main branches of the IRFU and is responsible for the entire rugby league in Connacht, Ireland.

Connacht Rugby have played in many tournaments before the URC, such as Heineken Cup, Celtic Cup, British and Irish Cup, and Rainbow Cup. As we know that the United Rugby Championship is a new competition and was started on 24 September 2021. The URC 2021-21 is a tough start for the Connacht Rugby, with two losses in Europe against the Bulls and Dragons. They got their first win in Europe on 1st October 2021.
